Robotic Technology in Manufacturing
Formerly known as the Advanced Manufacturing and Programming Education "AMPED" Program, The Greater Johnstown Career & Technology Center is offering a 720-Hour Career in a Year™ Robotic Technology in Manufacturing Program for participants interested in learning the advanced manufacturing process including:
- CNC G- & M- code programming
- Robotic welding programming
- CNC lathes
- CNC milling machines
- 3-D printing
- Blueprint reading
- And the latest technology advancements in coordinate measuring machine instruction
The program includes a 200-hour paid cooperative learning experience at a local company.
Students who successfully meet the requirements set forth by GJCTC and the accrediting bodies will be eligible to receive:
- A postsecondary diploma
- OSHA 10-hour card
- NIMS CNC certification in Mill/Lathe Operation
