Advanced Manufacturing

The Greater Johnstown Career & Technology Center is offering a 720-hour Career in a Year™ Advanced Manufacturing Program for participants interested in learning the advanced manufacturing process including:

CNC G- & M- code programming
Robotic welding programming
CNC lathes
CNC milling machines
3-D printing
Blueprint reading
And the latest technology advancements in coordinate measuring machine instruction

The program includes a 200-hour paid cooperative learning experience at a local company.

Students who successfully meet the requirements set forth by GJCTC and the accrediting bodies will be eligible to receive:

A postsecondary diploma
OSHA 10-hour card
NIMS CNC certification in Mill/Lathe Operation
Fanuc Handling Tool and Program Operations Certification
