Enrollment Information
According to Section 1809 of the Public School Code, all students in Pennsylvania are to have the opportunity to participate in vocational and technical training. GJCTC endorses this concept for any student who desires and is able to complete a career program in which he/she has a definite interest.
GJCTC does not discriminate in the handling of the admissions process and instructional activities.
How To Enroll
- Review the course(s) in which you are interested and discuss your career plans with your parents and guidance counselor.
- Pick up an application from your guidance counselor or at GJCTC or download the form here.
- Complete the front of the application and choose up to three programs. Be sure to number them in order of preference. You and your parents must sign the application.
- Return the application to your counselor o to GJCTC to complete the back and to obtain the school officials' signatures.
- The GJCTC guidance counselor will schedule a meeting with you at your home school to review your application and career plans.
- You will be notified by mail of your acceptance into a vocational area and of the time for orientation at GJCTC.
- If you are a special needs student, you should request to have a GJCTC representative at your IEP conference.
