Graphic Design

The Graphic Design/Multimedia program merges basic art skills required to make powerful graphic impact, with the latest technology available in the industry. The graphic design segment equips students with the tools they need to develop good composition, color theory, layout and perspective. In the multimedia segment, students learn how to apply these new skills to computer design, using professional software for graphics, photo manipulation and "Two-D" animation. Multimedia technology is a high-tech, emerging occupation requiring skilled employees. This program prepares students for entry-level employment in companies doing graphic designing, screen printing, advertising, video production and related graphic and multimedia activities. At program completion, the student is awarded a diploma.
