Carpentry (Daytime)

Students in intergenerational programs will be sharing instruction, classroom,
and laboratory activities with GJCTC's high school students.

720 Hours - Tuition $6,400* — Program Begins Late August and Ends Early June

Daily Schedule 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday

Carpentry

This program offers an opportunity for students to develop the skills, knowledge, and attitudes most desirable for entering the field of carpentry as it relates to the construction industry. The student will progress through all phases of residential carpentry, including: laying out building lots, understanding building plans, framing, and completing interior and exterior finishes relative to a residential dwelling. Special emphasis is placed on safety and the proper care of all tools associated with the trade. Students are being prepared for entry-level employment working with contractors and home building, home repairers and remodelers. At program completion, the student is awarded a diploma.
